William DOHERTY Obituary

DOHERTY, William Michael (Mike) Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday 12th July, 2015 aged 80 years. Very dearly loved and loving husband of Pat for 51 years. Proud and loving father and father-in-law to Stephen, Paula & Carey and Anna & Shannon. Adored and precious Poppa to his much loved grandchildren Edyn, Joel, Brayden and Tayla. Sincere thanks to Dr James Fu and the loving and caring staff at Tauranga Hospital. A Service to honour and celebrate Mike's life will be held at St Thomas More Catholic Church, 17 Gloucester Road, Mt Maunganui on Wednesday 15th July, 2015 at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.

We are sorry we can't make today as I have a house full of children (looking after friends kids) and Martin is in Auckland. We would really like to be there for you. I am sorry I won't be able to share tomorrow with you but I will be thinking of you all. I am sure there will be plenty of stories to be shared and lots of laughter as Mike always had the gift of making you laugh. I will remember Mike with much love and he was such a kind man.
