William DENT Obituary

DENT, William John (Bill). Passed away on 15 April 2026 at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Hastings peacefully, surrounded by his family. Adored Husband of Marion for 68 years. Dearly Loved father and father-in-law of John and Lesley, Alan and Judith, Neil and Celia and Alison. Loved grandpa to Sean, Jessica, Aaron, Ethan, Emma, Beth, Becky, Rosie, Harry, Mary, Natalie, Stephanie and Matthew And loved great grandpa to Lachlan, Connor, Harrison, Keeley, Jack, Millie, Archer, Orla, May and Theo. A special thanks to the staff at Waiapu for all the love and ongoing care given to Bill In accordance with Bills wishes a private Church service and cremation have been held.

Dear Neil and Celia, Marion and family,

Sorry to read of Bill's passing.

Hopefully he remained alert, suffering few of the indignities and illnesses that come with living to such a great age and able to enjoy watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up.
