William CONLEY Obituary
CONLEY, William Joseph (Bill). Peacefully passed away on 17th January 2024 in Auckland surrounded by his loving family. Deeply loved husband of Joyce. Loved and cherished father of Paul, Peter, David and Andrew, and father in law of Paulette, Suzanne, Kim and Amber. Much loved Poppa of Isabelle, Grace, Josh, Parekaawa, Arekatera, Theo, and Eliza. The family sincerely thanks all those who have given support and sent messages and condolences. Special thanks to the staff at Murray Halberg Village and Auckland Hospital who provided wonderful care and support. Forever loved, and always in our hearts and prayers. A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at 11:00am on Thursday 1st February 2024 at Lynfield Community Church, 35 The Avenue, Lynfield, Auckland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stroke Foundation. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints, (Psalm 116 v15)

Our dearest Poppa - gentle, kind and caring. A man who thought deeply and who saw the good in all. A keen photographer, puzzle solver and cheeky joke maker.
We will miss your quiet wisdom, your loving support and your delightful giggles.
We are proud to have become Conleys.
Now at peace with our beloved Paul.

Bill stood out by being a gentleman. He had healthy self respect and respected others in the same way. It is a pleasure knowing him. A man of God who loved God and loved others.
