William BOYD Obituary

Dear Lorna & family,
Our thoughts are with you. Bill was such a wonderful Rotarian and friend of our family for generations, firstly with my father, then brother Bill and myself.

We have lost a wonderful gentleman, Rotarian and true visionary. Through the work of the Bill and Laura Boyd Charitable Trust, Bill has made an immeasurable and positive impact on the literacy of our children, particularly those from lower decile environments. It has been a privilege for me to have known Bill and to be involved with the trust as it continues Bill's vision of helping improve literacy standards through the Rotary Dictionary Project. RIP Bill You have made a real difference in the lives of so many people.

Bill was a true gentleman & an absolute legend doing good in the world. You will be missed Bill, you have been called to "higher service" Wayne & I will be joining the crowds to celebrate you on livestream. So much love & sincere condolences to Lorna and the family

Bill, Rotary International President 2006-2007, inspired all of his friends in Rotary around the world, an inspirational speaker and caring person. All of the Governors of his year will remember the friendship and sound advice given freely by Bill and Lorna. We all will miss Bill.
