William Bowen Obituary
William R. Bowen Jr., 70, of West Mifflin, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, at his residence. Mr. Bowen was a retired machinist at U.S. Steel's Homestead Works. Preceded in death by his wives, Martha (Bodnar) and H. Arlene (Anderson) Bowen. Survived by daughter Deborah L. (Rocky) Bowen, of Homestead; sons, William J. (Patricia), of Christmas, Fla., Raymond G. (Rose), of Homestead, and Robert C. (Robin), of Plum; stepdaughter Arlene (Flam) Gathers, of Alabama, and grandchildren Missy, April, Raymond Jr., Brad, Chris, Ambur, Brett, Allison, Josh, Brittney and Heather. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3511 Main St., Munhall, where services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Donald Brookshire officiating.
