Donald Donovan Obituary

Donald W. Donovan, 76, of Pleasant Hills, formerly of Baldwin Borough, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005. Donald was an accountant for US Steel from 1952 to 1983; a member and elder of Whitehall Presbyterian Church for 34 years; life member of the Fairless Hills, Pa. Volunteer Fire Department, and assistant chief of Hulmeville, Pa. Volunteer Fire Department. Beloved husband of 52 years to A. Elaine (Todhunter). Loving father of Dana (Barbara), of Chesapeake, Va., Dr. Paul (Teri), of Emmaus, Pa., and Wesley (Ruth), of Castle Shannon. Brother of Virginia Atkinson, of Queensbury, N.Y. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, one niece, one nephew, an aunt and several cousins. Family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME INC., 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m., the Rev. Clint Cottrell officiating.
