Wendy WEIR Obituary

WEIR, Wendy Patricia (nee Harle) .On July 16, 2012; peacefully at home with her family. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Paul. Beloved and respected mother of Richard and Hayley, Matthew, Sarah and Michael and darling Granna to Charlotte and Oliver. Beloved daughter of Margaret and the late John Harle. Much loved sister of Richard and David and cherished sister-in-law to Sophie, Sandra and the Weir family. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 244 Parnell Road, Parnell on Friday, 20 July at 1pm. In celebrating Wendy's life, her wish was for colour to be worn.In lieu of flowers, donations to Sweet Louise, PO Box 137-343, Parnell, Auckland would be appreciated.

Farewell to a very special, brave lady - I was so glad I could share in your beautiful funeral Mass. I was privileged to be your friend through our school days - our parents were friends also. Even though we may have lost touch after you moved to Auckland, I never forgot the happy times we had when we were growing up. May the thoughts and prayers of family and friends support and comfort your family who will be missing you terribly. Rest in peace Wendy, love from Diane Sprowell (nee Race)
