Wendy LASHBROOK Obituary

LASHBROOK, Wendy Elizabeth (nee Shearer). Passed peacefully at Gulf Rise, Red Beach on Monday 2 February 2026 after a complicated and long illness, courageously bourne. Loved mother of Sandi (Nelson) and Andrew (Melbourne). Dearly loved sister of Brian, Barry, and Jenni. Wendy's life was filled with adventure, befriending, generosity, sincere faith, and love of those around her. She served her Lord well A celebration of Wendy's life will be held at Red Beach Methodist Church, 76 Red Beach Road, on Thursday 12 February at 1pm. The family extend sincere thanks to the wonderful staff of Gulf Rise for their loving kindness and tender care. In lieu of flowers donation would be appreciated to Hibiscus Hospice or Parkinson's NZ or Diabetes NZ.
