Wendy JACKSON Obituary

JACKSON, Wendy Anne. Passed away peacefully on 28 September, 2024 after a battle with cancer, aged 78. Much loved wife of Brian, mother and mother-in-law of Richard and Justine and grandmother of Harrison. Sincere thanks to the inpatient unit nursing staff at Mercy Hospice for their wonderful care of Wendy. A service to celebrate Wendy's life will be held at All Saints Chapel, Purewa, St Johns Rd, Meadowbank on Thursday, 3 October at 12pm.

Wendy had a beautiful garden in her Remuera home as well as the lovely home where she & Brian generously hosted Social evenings for members of Folded Wings. Always appreciated. Nothing like this happening these days

I met Wendy when we were committee members with the association of ex cabin crew, Folded Wings. She was so friendly, lively and kind and simply a nice person to be with. When a group of my golfing friends were planning a trip to Fiji I invited Wendy to join us and so pleased she did. It was a fun week with so many laughs and great photos. As life happens we lost touch but I will always carry and cherish happy memories of Wendy.
