Wendy FOLKARD Obituary

FOLKARD, Wendy Jane. Passed away peacefully Sunday morning at Totara Hospice surrounded by family and friends after a hard fought battle but finally succumbed. Much loved by Allan, Thomas and Emma. Service will be held at All Saints Howick Historic Chapel, Cook St, Howick on Thursday 6th September at 2pm. State of Grace East. Ph 09-527-0366

Have been thinking of you Alan (& Family) for some weeks and sending best thoughts, Wendy was such an inspiration with her contributions to the club with her happy smile I was glad to have met & known her if only a little. The whole family send their sincere condolences.

Has been heart breaking to hear this news so very suddenly. Wendy was an awesome mentor, friend and colleague with the most infectious smile during my Papakura school days. Will never forget one of your nought birthdays... Maybe 30 when we had a blast downtown. May you rest in deep sleep my friend. Love you. Miss you. Pray for you and your family

A treasured friend with memories as a student, traveller, life and family experiences. A special friend and bridesmaid in 1987. Always so positive and encouraging to be around. Wendy always thought of others and was a wonderful mentor and teacher to her students.
I will miss her greatly. My heart goes out to Alan, Thomas and Emma.
