Wendy BENNETT Obituary

BENNETT, Wendy Sheryl (nee Mudgway). Born August 16, 1959. Passed away peacefully in her own home, surrounded by family and loved ones on October 15, 2024, aged 65. We held your hand so tightly as you were taken away, it eased your pain but broke our hearts, in tears and sadness we had to part. So many things you gave to us, too many to recall. But your gift of love and your memory, the most precious gift of all. The worlds greatest mother to Mason, dearly loved sister to Scott, Glen and Dave, adored sister-in-law, the best aunty to all her nieces, nephews and great nephew. Always in our hearts, now at peace in the arms of the Lord. A funeral service for mum will be held on 19/10/2024 at 0930 at the Main Chapel, Morrisons Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive, Henderson. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family prefer a donation to Hospice West Auckland.

We shared a friendship for over 30 years, and will surely miss your friendly smile and your hugs when you said hello or goodbye. A room won't feel the same without you in it. I was one of the lucky one's for you to have come into my life and to have known what a special person you were.

My beautiful Wendy. It breaks my heart as we say goodbye to you. You are a beautiful person inside and out. You have been there for me and my family for 38 years in the good times and bad the times. You have always been my rock. I miss our daily chats more than you will ever know. You are such a special person, and I will always love you. You will be forever in my heart. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mason and the rest of your family. RIP sweet Wendy.
