Wendy ASHWIN Obituary
ASHWIN, Wendy Fordham (nee Thomas). It is with great sadness that Linda and Craig announce the passing of their dear mother Wen, she slipped away at the age of 93 after a short struggle on 28th May 2025 at Edmund Hillary rest home. A devoted wife to the late Grant and loving Gran to Aidan, Rosie, Rory, Alexander, James, Rebecca and Tom. Adoring Great Gran to Kaleb, Brooke, Sean, Hannah, Ziggy, Lola, Hunter, Frankie, Charlotte, August and Zara. We find comfort that you are reunited with Grant and your siblings. Rest in love and peace. There will be a memorial service and life celebration for family at a later date. All communication to P.O. Box 18135, Glen Innes Auckland 1072.

Wendy was a delightful aunt who reminded me so much of my mother. Her letter to my new born son on the (then recent) passing of his grandmother is a lasting treasure. RIP Wendy.
