Wayne YOUNG Obituary

YOUNG, Wayne Sen George. Artist, former resident of Parnell, died suddenly at home aged 69. Sadly missed, loved brother of Karen, Sue, Greg (deceased) and Kimberly, Brother in law to Roger, Ken and Rik. Much loved Uncle and great Uncle to all his nephews and nieces from the Knox, Cadness and Wellington Whanau. So sad to hear today of my friend Wayne's passing. I knew him back in the mid 90s in better times for him. I think of him often as I have many pieces of his artwork on my walls here in Canada. Such a talented man, and we shared a love of sports fishing that I introduced him to. Picture is of his 1st marlin caught fishing with us. RIP Wayne.

Wayne was a great friendly person, got to know him quite well through the CB radio and later he used to come have dinners with my wife and I in Onehunga.
Wayne went through a very stressful time due to the leaky buildings crisis which effected him.
