MCNEIL, Wayne Todd (Mac). Passed away on August 09, 2024. Mac, It has been some time since we last spoke - twenty years since I moved from McLeod Rd! Remember , way back in the days of the Purple Cow Restaurant, open until 2.00am! Me visiting family members in McLeod Rd, you on patrol, we would pull up our cars for a chat and a laugh - me in my dressing gown and you in your uniform! It was a different era back in the day - there was more time to help people - my God! did you help people! and stay friends! We always enjoyed jokes and laughter - thank God we had those days! We will have more when we meet again where you are now - Happiness Heaven - with ones we know and those with a bloody good sense of humour! Always with respect, laughter and friendship, Vinka Taylor and son Brent

I will never forget Wayne as he was there for me at a very important time for me and my young family in NZ.
Wayne was a great influence on me as the first old school Kiwi I had met. He told me the facts as straight as it could be and also the stories that made me laugh so much especially after he had a glass or two of red wine.
Best wishes to you Wayne and I hope you are looking down on me and make sure Paul is OK!
