Wayne DUNN Obituary

DUNN, Wayne (Wayno). It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wayne Dunn in the wonderful care of the Hutt Hospital staff and surrounded by family on the evening of Saturday 28 January 2023, aged 76 years. He bore his illness with dignity and fought fiercely to the very end. Loved husband of Jocelyn, cherished father of Clarissa, Peter and John, father-in-law to Julia and poppa to Olive and Quinn. A service celebrating the brilliant spark of his life will be held at 1pm on Wednesday 8 February at North Shore Memorial Park Chapel, 235 Schnapper Rock Road, followed by the burial at 2pm and then refreshments.

Dear Clarissa
Thinking of you and your family and friends of your Dad at this sad time. Sending you lots of aroha and hugs - and hope you can create a fitting remembrance to help you all celebrate him and mourn him - the contribution you made to our Dad and his send off has a very warm place in my heart. Let´s hope both Dads are up there enjoying music sunshine and some beautiful cloud artwork - and no doubt my Dad will be swimming too - and yours doing whatever was his magic!
