Sitting on the beach in Samoa spending time with Family Friends and Loved Ones, when i saw the sad news of you gone so soon .
I couldn't believe as i had just spoken with You several weeks before. Broke my heart and brought tears to my eyes but i know that in my heart GOD has saved a place for You in heaven.
Thank You for all your hard work you have done in so many work places, Boards and etc, and the kind words you always gave me when ever we met up at work or at Agri Shows around NZ. You always loved to crack a joke about making sure i don't eat all the food and always asking about when i'll be seeing the family again in Samoa. I will surely miss you my friend and brother.
Rest in Love & Peace and may the Good Lord above be the light of Love and Happiness for your Family always.

To the family. My condolences to you all for losing this great family man. Thank you for allowing the funeral to be streamed. I just watched it and it was a great tribute to Warren. It also filled in the personal aspects of Warren that I didnt know. I didn´t know Warren well, but certainly knew of his great achievements in the primary sector. I used to bump into him at airports and he was always friendly and had time for a chat. He has been a great servant of NZ Agriculture and will be surely missed.

Hi Vivian,
So sorry to hear about the passing of a Great Man.
I´ll never forget something that Warren said to me once.
Knowledge is no weight to carry.
I believe his father told him that years before.
Kind regards
Trev.

Warren kept contact with me while I was Sweden 20 years. And we had contact since I returned. Greatly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time . Warren was my lecturer and then a board member on the Taratahi Board whilst I was CEO . Above all though he was a friend and mentor throughout my career - always willing to give advice and guidance . A huge loss to NZ agriculture .

My sincerest condolences on the loss of Warren, a wonderful colleague, friend, and intellect. It was a great pleasure to work alongside Warren on the board of Scion, and his breadth of talent will be a great loss to family, friends, colleagues, and New Zealand. The forest has lost one of its strongest trees.
