Warren was the kind of soul that just had that warmth to it, he was a kind natured spirit who would always try and make your day better no matter what.

Touring with him was so much fun and every show was electric and tantalizing.

Thank you for being a part of my life even though it was fairly brief the memories of you will always remain!

You shred that guitar forevermore brother!!

Metal is family, and you will always be family.

We spent many hours with Warren writing music, recording, travelling NZ and Australia and created lasting memories together. Thank you Warren, for everything you put into the band and for all the silly, crazy moments we shared along the way. Although we hadn't stayed in touch recently, your riffs and solos and your Warren-isms still remain, we are grateful to have had those experiences with you. Rest easy Big W.

When I think of Warren it's not only for the thunderous fury of his guitar riffs, but for the quiet wisdom and didacticism that shaped so many lives. A mentor in the truest sense, he taught not just technique, but integrity-how to listen deeply, think boldly, and act with compassion.

A humanist who believed in the dignity of every human, a technologist who saw innovation as a path to justice, and an environmentalist who treated the earth not as a resource, but as a companion.

I wish I told you more how important you were to me.

To Warren's dear family. I am sorry for your huge loss. He truly was unique and had a kind heart. I knew Warren when we did our Masters degree together. We became friends. I am sad he is no longer with us. May he find peace.

My condolences to all of Warrens whanau I knew him in his younger days when we all played in a band together traveled the South Island and touched and bought hope to young people. May you now rest in the of the arms of your saviour Jesus Christ.
