TAWHA, Walter Te Arai (Boyboy). Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday 31 May, 2011. The much loved eldest son of the late Walter Te Arai Tawha Senior and Patricia Tawha. Precious darling honey of Steph, his flower. Darling daddy of Layna and Phillip, Patrick, Leilani, and baby Te Puawaitanga. Papa of Vanessa. Big bro to Patrick (Patu), Heta, Daniel, Jack, Donna, Lyall, Mackone, and Peata. Much loved uncle and papa to his many nieces and nephews and mokopuna. Your pain has stopped now darling Boy. You leave a huge hole in our lives and hearts. Words cannot describe how much we love and miss you, your cheeky smile and smart humour. Kua hinga to tatou totara. Love you forever. Service to be held today (Friday) 11am at Makaurau Marae Ihumatao, Ruaiti Road, Mangere followed by burial at Pukaki Urupa, then returning to Te Manukanuka o Hoturoa Marae, Uenuku Way (near Airport) Mangere for Hakari. Tawha, Boyboy (Walter) Our cousin, uncle, papa was taken away from us too early. He was the main cook for all tangi's held at Makaurau Marae. He will be sadly missed by each and everyone from Ihumatao.
I know for sure that i will be of many that will miss him.

TAWHA, Te Arai. After a long illness, dearly loved son-in-law of Bob and Dianne Fussell. A loving father and husband. Our gentle giant now at rest. We'll miss you.
