Walter HOBSON Obituary

HOBSON, Walter. We are sad to be saying goodbye to you so soon Wal, but have great memories of fun times we shared, like, camp stools and flooded tents at Taupo Bay, pots and pans and night fever dances at Greenhithe, Traffic Dept. Balls, apples rolling around in the plane and cooking fish at Hank's, possum hunting in the kitchen, holidays in Singapore, Malaysia, Rarotonga. Thanks for all the years of love, friendship and support, your friends, Gav, Helen, Justin, Kim

Wally gave the greater part of his life in the service of his country and community. He was an esteemed and highly respected member of the Auckland City Traffic Dept., Ministry of Transport and N.Z Police. Wally was a true gentleman of the highest integrity. My heartfelt thoughts are with Angela and her family as they come to terms with the loss of a dearly loved husband and father. Wally is a former colleague who will be sorely missed by all of those who served with him. Rest in peace my friend.
