Sorry to hear about the death of Wally Glass last year (just read about it now). I was friends with Noel and Kelly, with Wally being the big brother I didn't know so well. Many years ago in Australia I met up with Noel and ended up on a road trip with Noel, Wally and Tess. It was brilliant and I remember it well to this day. Soon after I went to live in the Northern Hemisphere and saw neither Wally or Noel again, sadly. Wally was a cool guy and astute in his observations, like the rest of his family. Condolences to all.

To Wally's extended family - and Kelly.
Very sad to hear of Wally's passing.
A top bloke and one who popped up on my Grey Star work in-box over the years out of the blue, just to say hi and catch-up. With him being one of the 'organizers' of the 5th form hair-cut strike among borders at SKC Oamaru way back in 1971, it's just one of those memories about him as a then young fellow, one smiles about. The outcome ... the whole school was all allowed longer hair as a result. There was even a cartoon in the Otago Daily Times at the time about it. Wish I had kept it.
A genuine gentleman and Coaster, gone far too early. Thoughts and prayers with you all. It was a pleasure to have known him.
