Margie and I enjoyed our time with Wally at Lake Road, drinking ..... hot water with milk! (And chatting about his childhood, his time in Northland, Devonport and boats. He also shared with us his experiences at work and also sailing and "mucking about in boats")..
I have very happy memories of taking Wally and Tom sailing on Wally's catamaran.
Margie and I also enjoyed taking Wally for drives and "days out"during his early times at Jervois Residential Care. We also enjoyed taking him Fish and Chips, Bananas and sweet treats, that he could enjoy while sitting in the sun and chatting.
The staff at Jervois Residential Care were just fantastic and I (and the late Margie) thank them for their kindness and support for Wally.
