This is hard to bealieve that we saw Vivian alive and well in August last year at our Newbold reunion. I was so happy to have met her again after the early 80ies and now I'm greatly griefed that I'll never see her again on this earth. Therefore I'm looking forward very much to the Great Reunion in heaven. May God be very close to you, Bruce and the children and be your strength and comfort.

I have fond memories of playing guitar and singing with Vivian at Newbold, Enton Medical Centre, and in Norway during the late 1970s & 1980s.
"When We Get To Heaven" was one of Vivian's favourite Philip McGoldrick songs. Vivian sang these words:
"I dreamed that I was there within the Heavenly gates,
And all my friends were there together in one place.
I know there is a place where love will never end,
And there will be no parting when we get to Heaven."
Thank You Lord for planning the greatest Reunion of all time. May Your Spirit reside in our hearts.
With love in Christ,
David Goymer

Together with Vivian I learnt a lot, laughed a lot and prayed a lot. She taught me life lessons about family, vegan cooking and singing. Always in my heart, never forgotten and missed. She will sing again, when we get to heaven.

Dear Bruce and kids. I am a very good friend of Synnoeve, who I know you know well. As a child I lived with my mum and sisters in one of the four flats in the same house as Vivian's dad for a while in Markveien, Lillehammer, Norway. My mum was a physiotherapist at Skogli for some years. I heard that he passed away a year ago... I lived in London for quite a few years and flatted with kiwis, ending up sharing my life with one of them. I became a registered nurse in London. Sometimes I would visit Newbold College, although not that often. My cousin Anne Grete Nordland (nee Pettersen) was a student there one year, but I also knew a few others (I'm a good friend of Inger & Lehnart Falk). - - - I must say that although I didn't keep in touch with Vivian as an adult, I would have loved meeting up with her here in NZ if I'd known she was here. It's always something special meeting up with Norwegians when you live so far away! Sending you all good wishes and may God help you carry on and bless you! Love Jette.

I remember teachng Vivian a step/clap dance with my friend Lydia. She loved it so much and I remember thinking she was such a fun and cool lady. I was quite impressed to find that she still remembered it years later. She always had a smile on her face and was so kind. She was a lady that was a blessing to everyone she came in contact with and she will be missed dearly. My condolences and hugs to her family. May you find peace and comfort through this difficult time.

Vivian - very much a part of our Newbold, and it was as if no years had passed when we were together again in August. We are just so grateful for that lovely weekend, Vivian central to it, as full of life as ever with your beautiful, bright, welcoming smile. The loss goes deep.

Oddvar and I are so very glad that we got to reunite with Vivian last August at Newbold College Reunion. The years just melted away. Our hearts go out to your children and mom. We are so thankful for the text, "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passes away."
RIP Vivian <3

Dear family! I knew Vivian from Norway, we both went to Tyrifjord together. I am so saddened about what's happened - it must be such a shock for her children, mother and the whole family! I live in Auckland and would have come to the service if I was closer by. God with with you all - especially her children! Thoughts and prayers - Jette Eriksson.
