Visaka AMARASINGHE Obituary

AMARASINGHE, Visaka Seneviratna Kumarihamy (nee Amunugama). passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday 12th November 2022. Loved wife of her late husband Dr Norman Amarasinghe, beloved mother of Yvonne, Romani, Chanaka, Rodney, Sepalika, and Piyali, and mother-in-law of Rohan, Julie-ann, Gayani, Joe and Dean. Proud grandmother of Lishan, Sumangali, Manesh, Ranmalie, Carl, Petra, Amara, Sanath, Paige, Indika, Jade, Madison and Gothami, and caring great-grandmother of Udula, Danuja, Hiruja, Thenuja, Hiruni, Onali and Aruni. Survived by her brother Brian Amunugama and predeceased by her siblings Soma, Wilfred, Rani, Indrani and Stanley. A Celebration of Visaka's Life was held on Wednesday 16th November, at 1.00pm at Manukau Memorial Gardens, Wiri.
