MAYES, Violet (Val) (nee Broome). Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 8 March 2022 at North Shore Hospital with family by her side. Aged 96. Much loved wife of the late Archie. Treasured mother of Fay and Alan. Mother-in-law of Neil. Adored nana of Ben and Ange, Chris and Lana, Dion and Mel, Eryn and Dave. Great nana of Kian, Cooper, Zach, Tom, Bella, Ruby, Theo and Teah. A service will be held at the Silverdale RSA, 43a Vipond Road, Stanmore Bay, on Saturday 12th March at 1pm, followed by a private cremation.
