Violet COLUMB Obituary

COLUMB, Violet (nee Simpson). In her 95th year, born 2 November 1919, passed away peacefully on Monday 28 August 2014 at Lady Elizabeth Rest Home, Takanini, Auckland. Formerly of Otaki, Nelson and Paekakariki. Treasured wife of the late Tom and beloved mother of Fay, Lee, Maria, Terry, Helen and her sons Mike, Bob, Trevor, Kevin, David and predeceased by her eldest son Neil. Loved mother-in-law of Ken, Laurie Ann, Lexie, Gary and Katherine. Grandmother and great grandmother of all her special grandchildren and great grandchildren. Always remembered and cherished Requiem Mass for Violet will be celebrated at St Patrick's Catholic Church, in Our Lady of Kapiti Parish, Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu, on Tuesday 5 August 2014, at 11:00am followed by burial at Paraparaumu Cemetery.
