Violet CASSIN Obituary

CASSIN, Violet Blanche (Vi) (nee Avison). Vi passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, 20 June 2025 in her 101st year. Loved wife of the late Paddy. Vi was a well-loved, respected, adored, talented, treasured and incredible mother and mother-in-law of Brian and Lyne, Kevin and Jolie, Michael and Julia, Sheena and Kevin, and Mark and Helen, who adored and loved all of her 17 grandchildren, 30 great- grandchildren and 2 great- great-grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Mason (deceased), Janice and Bruce, and Paul and Sheena. Vi will be in everyone's hearts forever and ever. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Cranford Hospice in her memory. Vi's family invite you to join them in celebrating her long and fulfilled life in Equippers Church, 306 Hapuku Street, Hastings on Wednesday, 25 June at 11.00am, followed by private cremation.
