Victor TRETHOWEN Obituary

TRETHOWEN, Victor George (Vic). Died at Sunset Home and Hospital on Tuesday 6th December 2016; fifty six years to the day when he first met Ann at Manurewa Telephone Exchange. Beloved husband of Ann, much loved father of Rose, Rachael, and Elizabeth and grandfather of Carmin, Sparrow, Henry, Mary, Daniel, Emily, Oliver and Finn and the late Alexander and Timothy. Also loved father and father-in-law of Ian and Vicki, Raewyn and Rodney and Shirley and Kevin and grandfather and great grandfather to their children; also loved partner of first wife Fay. Out of pain at last, the pain of not remembering, the pain of being separated, the pain of being unable to make his body work as he wanted it to. We will miss you my darling, but we are glad to know that your pain is gone now. You will always be remembered for your loving kindness. Thanks from Vic's family to all Crestwood Staff who cared for him and to all Sunset Staff who cared for him. You did a wonderful job and we appreciate what you did. Thanks also to residents of Crestwood for your support and to the residents and staff of Sunset Retirement Village for your support to Ann and family. The funeral service will be held in the Main Chapel of the Morrison Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive, Henderson on Monday 12 December 2016 at 10.00 a.m.
