BROUGH, Victor Eric. 31 March 1938 - 27 May 2021, aged 83 years. Formerly of Te Puia Springs, Rotorua and Whakatane. Sadly missed by his sister Betty, children Shane and Denise, grandchildren, extended family, and a strong circle of friends and many others whose lives were made richer by knowing him. He is now one with those who went before, including his wife Kaye and sons Trevor and Ian. May they all rest in peace. A memorial service will be held at the Whakatane RSA, Richardson Street, at 11am on Thursday June 17, after which his ashes will be laid to rest with other members of his family in Paterangi cemetery. Messages may be sent to 9 Reynolds Drive, Glenview, Hamilton 3206.

Ian Trass, is sorry he cannot be here today
due to prior commitments.
Vic and I were part of a group of friends that
developed at Massey College way back in 1958/59.
We maintained contact over many years and visited
from time to time in Rotorua.
Vic was a hard man who could turn his hand to
many tasks. He had a ready wit and was quick to
come up with comments that were really funny
once you managed to get on his wavelength!
It is sad that a group link has been broken - we shall all be poorer for that.
I hope that the memorial service will be one to celebrate Vic's life.

Ian Trass, an old Massey friend who has kept
up the friendship over many years, regrets he wil
be unable to attend Vic's service due to prior
engagements.
A tough, hardworking character, always with a
sharp wit and quick, clever response. Vic often left you scratching your head trying to keep up!
A link with the past has been broken and our
Massey group will be all the poorer.
I hope the service today will be a chance to
celebrate Vic's life.
