I remember meeting Veronica when we first moved to Thames about 30 years ago. She was dynamic, full of energy and always up to something! Fond memories and best wishes to your family.

I first met Veronica in the early 1970s - an effervescent, flaming auburn-haired young woman who you knew instinctively saw the goodness, kindness and fun in others. A lovely person who will be greatly missed. Condolences to Veronica´s family and friends. Nigel Moore (brother-in-law)

I am so sad to hear of Veronica's passing. I worked with her many years ago in Thames Hospital. I used to look forward to a shift with her as you could be sure that there would be some fun! A truly lovely soul sent to brighten the world. Much love to all the family as I am sure she will be sorely missed. Regards, Sandy Good

I met dear Veronica in 1974 when we started our nursing training at Greenlane Hospital. We became good friends & had so many good times & lots of laughs. We flatted together in Auckland & in Melbourne along with her beloved Peter. Veronica was very talented & just an absolute whirlwind in everything! She proved to be an absolute battler over the last few years but always had a laugh when I spoke with her. Rest easy Veronica, you deserve it after your valiant battle. My sincere love & condolences to all her family, with love Karen Olsen
