DOWIE, Vera Irene (nee-Newman) MBE OSJM JP. On 22nd March, peacefully at Eversleigh Hospital, aged 92 years.Much loved wife of the late Walter. Sister of Noela, Betty, and the late George. Loving mother and mother in-law of Warren and Mary, Dennis and Robin. Much Loved grandmother of Callum and Jess, Jenny and Rod, Megan, James and great grandmother of Nicola. The complete service for Vera will be held at Takapuna Methodist Church, Lake Road, Takapuna on Tuesday 25th March at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the North Shore St Johns Ambulance Association, North Shore would be appreciated.
