Vera R. Bazzano, 90, of Springdale, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, at her home. She was born Sept. 18, 1914, in Grove City, to the late Joseph and Immaculate Talotta Fera, and had resided in Springdale the past 63 years. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, and among her interests were reading, cooking, her flowers and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Surviving are four sons, Dr. Stephen (Madalyn) Bazzano, of Joplin, Mo., Robert (Nancy) Bazzano, of Lower Burrell, Donovan (Donna) Bazzano, of Springdale, and David (Kathy) Bazzano, of Butler; two daughters, Virginia (Fred) Chesaro, of Cheswick, and Ave Marie (Frank) Dlubak, of Freeport; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Santo Bazzano; daughter, Emma Bazzano; two brothers, Dr. John Fera and Frank Fera; and a sister, Emma Janies. At Mrs. Bazzano's request, there will be no public visitation and services and interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 250 Mt.
