Velna VENDT Obituary

VENDT, Velna Florence (nee Watson). On 19 January 2023, aged 90 years, Velna slipped away while holding Jennifer's hand. She has gone to be reunited with her dearly loved parents Florrie and Allen Watson, and her beloved husband John. Treasured and much loved mother and grandmother of Jennifer, Nicola, Melissa, Sophie, Jonathan and their partners. Adored one of Spencer. A private funeral service has taken place. Mum hated the word "Goodbye" - so Mum, Grandma - until we are together again you will be sadly missed by us all. All communication to 319 Waihoehoe Road, RD 1, Drury, 2577.

Best friend from primary school days of the late Marie Evans (Jones) they shared so much more than birthdays through the years .. such a loyal friend to Mum .. loved Auntie Velna of the Evans kids
