Vaughan NANKIVELL Obituary

NANKIVELL, Vaughan Todd. Jesus took Vaughan home on Sunday 22 January 2017, aged 50 years. Devoted husband, dad, son, brother and uncle. Following a private commital a Memorial Service celebrating Vaughan's life will be held at 2pm on Thursday 26 January at Whangaparaoa Baptist Church, 733 Whangaparaoa Road. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hibiscus Hospice.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I miss you terribly. I know you're beyond well so I won't wish that for you. I can't imagine honestly how amazing things are there and the people you've encountered and the knowing you now possess. I'm so jealous. I wish it had been me and not you who won the trip. I know you and Dave Beck and Ricky Valenzuela are all admiring the surroundings. And most of all, you all see Him face-to-face. Oh you know me, I'm watching like the watchman I was made to be. Things are crazy here. You all will be coming back soon I believe.
Me? I'm ok. Been writing up a storm. Some good blog articles and a ton of really good songs. BTW- thank you for pushing me and encouraging me along the way. I wish you had phones there, I miss our long chats. My boys? David's little Maci is about to be 7 and Aaron has a little boy now, Cayden Michael Bliss. Aaron is Director of Construction for Habitat's for Humanity here. He's become quite the man. David is making films and commercials in South Carolina. My dad's 93. Still going but getting old.
BTW, did my DNA, I'm pure Ashkenazi Jew on my father's side. Cohen's and Levi, Katz, etc. Line goes back well over 27 generations. Crazy, huh? But you probably know that by now.
Well, I need to go for now. I'm sure you've got much going on as well. If you wouldn't mind, as a favor, could you ask Abba if He'd send me some of the sounds and songs of deliverance? I'd like to write a few here before I leave. I love and miss you deeply my great and precious friend, my little brother. Shalom, shalom! L'hitraot, Cheers... Steven
