Vaughan GARRETT Obituary

GARRETT, Vaughan. On 9 February 2025, Vaughan, age 58, passed away as a result of a tragic accident while working on his section of land up in Okoki. Working on this section was his latest project and he loved spending time there. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Veronica and Mike. Adored uncle to Jessica, John, Max and Freya, Ryan, Campbell and Nim. A life member of Surf Lifesaving NZ, Surf Lifesaving Taranaki and New Plymouth Old Boys SLSC. A special thanks to those who helped after the accident; St John, NZ Police, John and Nick, and the residents of Okoki Road. A celebration of Vaughan's life will be held at Butlers Reef, Oakura, on Tuesday 18 February at 4pm. His service will be livestreamed on https:/ /vimeo.com/event/4918052 In place of flowers, please make any donations to New Plymouth Old Boys SLSC.
