Valmai SHEARER Obituary

SHEARER, Valmai (nee Doak). Died peacefully at Auckland Hospital on 13 April 2025, in a cloud of love, surrounded by family. Dearly loved eldest daughter of Les and Elsie Doak of Omihi. Loving mother and mother-in- law of the late Sally and Richard Prankerd, Jane and Bruce Robertson, Sue, Joanne and Mark Denekamp, and David and Ragnhild (Sweden). Cherished grandmother of Stephen, Katherine, Jen, Liz, Rhona, Katie, Lisa, Ellen and Henry. Great grandmother to Aleisha, Bella and Cassie. Much loved sister and sister- in-law of the late John, and Jeanette and Peter Inkson (Amberley). A celebration of Valmai's life will be held at 4pm on Tuesday 22 April at All Saints Chapel, Purewa Crematorium, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank.
