Valerie MORELAND Obituary

MORELAND, Valerie May (Val). Passed away peacefully on 26 March 2022 aged 91. Dearly loved wife of the late Roly. Adored mum and mother-in- law of Jill and Kevin, Robyn and Leighton, Gaye and Luke. A much loved nana and great nana of her 6 grand children and 2 great grand children. Our thanks to the wonderful carers and staff at Bruce McLaren Hospital Care Unit. A service to celebrate Val's life will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, Selwyn Road, Howick at 11am on Tuesday 5 April. In line with Val's wishes you are welcome to wear bright colours in celebration of her life.

I´m so sorry to hear Val is gone. Loved her and always knew she was a special lady. Apologies for not attending service as I was in hospital and have only just found out.
So glad my Mum visited her before she died. They will have a few laughs together now!

The late Jim & May Olney were Val and Loma's parents. They are related to Ellen Martin (Deceased) of Manawaru and later Te Aroha. Many happy times were shared over the years.
