Valerie McMURTRIE Obituary

McMURTRIE, Valerie Isabel (Val) (nee Robb). Val passed away peacefully on Sunday 6th October 2024 after a short illness, four days short of her 90th birthday. Dearly loved wife of the late Bruce. Loved mother and mother in law of Sue and Tom, Colin and Raelene. Adored Nana of Michael, Natalie, David, Jeffrey and Brilee, and a proud great grandmother of six great grandchildren. A Memorial Service to celebrate Val's life will be held at the chapel of Forrest Funeral Services, 39 Riverside Road, Orewa on Friday 11th October 2024 at 2.30pm.

Sending big hugs and condolences to you all from the Somerville/Moser families.
We had some great Christmas's together starting at Orewa Domain Camping Ground in the early 60's thru to The Glade at Pauanui until dad passed in 2010.
My fondest memory being dad and Bruce getting on the turps with mum and Val complaining.
RIP Val.
