Valerie GUNSON Obituary

GUNSON, Valerie Ruth (nee Chell). Passed away peacefully on the 27th June 2025 aged 94 years. Dearly beloved wife of Kenneth Desmond Gunson (deceased). Loved mother and mother-in- law of Carol, Lynda, Patricia (Paddy) and Punawai, Marion and John, and Ian. Close friend of Tony Moselen. Much loved Grandmother to her 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Always remembered with love. A special thanks to Hospice staff, Access Community Health, and TLC4u2 for their wonderful care of our mum. A service for Valerie will be held at the Chapel of Morris & Morris Funerals, (entrance 17 Western Hills Drive) Whau Valley, Whangarei, at 10:30 am on Friday the 4th July 2025, followed by a private family interment at Maunu Cemetery.
