Valerie DREWET Obituary
DREWET, Valerie Muriel (nee Paton). Suddenly at Middlemore Hospital on 2 February, 2013 aged 84 years. Wife of the late Oakley. Treasured mother of Corinne Te Whata, Jan Steiner and Ngaire Takarua. Respected mother in law of Tana, Erwin and Ken. Special Nana of Jason, Linley, Krystal and Quentin; Pia, Bjorn; Junior and Che. Great grandmother of sixteen. "Everything in its place and a place for everything". A service for Valerie will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, Cnr Selwyn Road and Cook Street, Howick on Wednesday 6 February at 1pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Heart Children NZ, PO Box 108034, Symond Street, Auckland 1150 would be appreciated.

Much loved cousin and dear friend. Val's is dancing with rainbows in another place, sewing machine now quiet, she's won her race.

In loving memory of a real careing friend, anytime I needed something fixed or altered you would help me then show me how to do it, you were such a whiz with sewing, even when I just needed a chat you were there. I will surely miss you and never forget you, and when you see my Mum tell her I'm finally using her sewing machine.
