Valda COOPER Obituary
COOPER, Valda Esme Miriam. Passed away on the 17th of May 2022 aged 93 at Northhaven Whangaparoa. Valda lived most of her life in Henderson. Dearly beloved wife of the late Vic Cooper and mother and mother-in-law to Donald and Estelle, Bryan and Bev Healy, Ritchie and Sherin. Grand Mother to Aaron, Blair, Chris, Nickie, Amanda, Victoria, Georgia and Jaeden, and Great Grand Mother of 11 wonderful children. At Valda's request there will be no service. A celebration of Valda's life will take place on her Birthday on the 16th of July 2022. Family and friends are welcome. Special thanks to all the staff at the Tasman Care Home in Henderson and the Northhaven Care Home in Whangaparaoa who provided excellent care for Valda in her final days. Valda and Vic, my very lovely neighbours in Henderson. Such a long time ago and Henderson a different world then from now. I remember many times visiting Williams for buttons or other such haberdashery items, and remember Valda at the kitchen window, and Vic in the garden caring for his beautiful dahlias. Condolences to family. Good memories of two lovely people. RIP, Valda and Vic.
