SUMMERSBY, Valarie Nancy (nee Smith). Passed away at her home in Dannevirke on 16th May 2023. Aged 81 years. Loved mother to Sarah and Stephen Grandmother of Ben and Naykoda, Amy and Adam, Marcus, and Amelia Great Grandmother to Ava. In accordance with Valarie 's wishes a private cremation will take place.

Heartfelt condolences to Sarah, Stephen and families.

Valarie was unafraid to speak her mind but had a heart of gold. She touched many people's lives, showing genuine concern for those under her care. Valarie was like a second grandmother to our boys who will remember her kindness and generosity. Valarie will be sadly missed but we will remember happy times spent with her. May she rest in peace.
