My dearest friend Val, we have shared so many happy memories over the last 50 years, I can´t believe you have gone, and it was so sudden. Don´t worry my darling you will never be forgotten. I will miss you, now I have no one to share our birthday with. Love you, Gill xxx

Val you were a force to be reckoned with and will be greatly missed. I enjoyed our chats and our games of tennis. You were a fierce competitor with great skills but generous in your advice. Who's going to tell me off now?

We were so very sad to hear of the sudden death of the lovely Val. She was one of the first people we met when we moved to McLeod Bay in January 2010. We met while we were all swimming in the bay, where Val swam often. Our deepest sympathy to her loved ones.

So sorry to hear it was certainly quite a shock as we were just enjoying your company recently and u were in great spirits.
