V. WILLIAMS Obituary

WILLIAMS, V. Muriel. Peacefully on April 3, 2013 at Selwyn Heights. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Tony and Cathy, Dennis and Ree, Ray and Katy, Ken and Noeline, and Allan and Louise. Nana of Stephanie, Mark, Adam and the late Jodie, Ursula and Great-Grandma of Jaime, Tori, Cameron and Morgan. A service for Muriel will be held at the Selwyn Heights Chapel of the Good Shepherd on Monday April 8 at 11am to be followed by a private cremation.

Thank you for being my Mother In Law for 33 years and "Nana Willy" to my 2 children Jodie (deceased) and Adam (recently married). You were a tenacious, hard working Lady, an excellent author, and fiercely loyal to your 5 wonderful Sons. Go in peace

Thank you, to Mr and Mrs Muriel Williams, who sponsored my Mum (Betty)and Dad (Ben Creasey) and three daughters (Anne, Rosalind and Kathleen)to New Zealand in 1953. Dad joined the NZ army while we were still in England and we all came in 1953. I remember exciting holidays with the Williams' family at Lake Tarawera and the big creepy crawies the guys found to scare us big time. Since then we have added another 21 to the statistics in NZ. But for the William's helping my family, we might not have enjoyed living in this great country.
On behalf of the Creasey family, I offer you my thanks for helping us those many years ago and express our sympathy at this sad time. God bless you all.
