I miss you so much dad. I'm very sad that I didn't get to know you very well as you died when I was just 8 and a half months old. I am now 13 and I think about you everyday and all the very little memories I can remember of us. I love looking back at pictures of you, mum, and me in Rarotonga and at the beach. I cant believe a year has gone so fast, Dev really misses you and man he is so much like you has your cheesy humour, he hates butter on bread - says it tastes funny... where would he have got that from? He is a splitting image of you ty. We talk about you lots and miss you even more. Tyron, even in death you're still large as life with so many people who loved you and who are mourning your passing. You left everyone far too soon, none of us were ready for that. I hope you have found your peace and know that you left huge footprints in everyone's hearts.

Danielle,Tyron's sister,Jason her partner, myself as Tyron's mother and Colin, Tyron's chosen dad for 25 years have been helped by the messages of love and caring from you all. There are also messages on the Memory Tree site which are full of loving memories of our dear son and brother.It is hard to believe or accept that our fun-loving, strong and fearless Tyron will not turn up with smiles and new cuts and grazes after his mishaps with cars or even a new car he has got hold of to pull apart. He was a great sports fan and loved the outdoors, children and animals, especially his cat Ginge who we now have. So many people have contacted us through email and cards that we realise just how much Tryon impacted people's lives. The happiest time of his and Danielle's life was at Allan Freeth's home in Onehunga from '78 to '84. Tyron was always at peace in or near the water and found it for a time last year at Maraetai where he loved to cycle and enjoy the sea. There are no words to describe the utter and profound sadness we all feel at losing someone so special and important in our lives. He would have been surprised to see so many people at his farewell. For his family who are left to mourn him, we hang on to the hope we will meet again in a loving reunion.

Tyrons family, I am so sorry for your loss. I knew him from school and caught up with him out night clubbing a few years ago and he mentioned to me that he was going to be a dad and he was quite happy about it. That is something I will remember for a long time. R. I. P. my friend.

You gave me the best thing in my world, our baby boy, i know we had our differences Ty but we were happy once, we will talk of you often, Devon will miss you. Rest easy knowing that he is well loved and cared for,

To Tyron's family, partner and children... I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know that words are so inadequate at a time like this, but I hope it will be of some comfort to you to know that you are in my thoughts (and prayers).

Tyron you where a really awesome person you will never be forgotten, RIP, Tina.

Tyron was a teenager last time I saw him with the pimples and cheek of his youth. He was such a delight and very much a part of the McGuire family in the 80’s. He went to school with two of my sons Leon & Reuben, and he cycled alongside Leon. He would eat, sleep, play pool, do everything with our family; I have many photos I must now dig out. I can see his cheeky smile, his infectious laughter, oh, and how he loved the girls. I haven’t seen Tyron for over 20 years but remember him with so much clarity, like it was yesterday. Our deepest sympathy goes to Tyron’s family, his children, his partner, his sister, his parents and all his dear friends. Sleep peacefully dearest Tyron, my 4th son.

Tyron was a very good friend of mine when we were growing up and in high school R.I.P Tyron so sad that you have passed, fantastic memories, probably the best of my youth, they will stay with me as long as i am here.:-(
