My heart skipped a beat when I found this. I worked with Trevor as a buyers agent back in 2001 and have always known him to be a larger than life character. He lived life to the fullest. He loved and adored his family. They were on every post card and holiday flyer that went out to his clients. He had a big heart and will be dearly missed. My thoughts are with his family. Life is eternal. You'll see him again.

Sheryl , Martyn, Scott, Kylie, partners and all the grandchildren, I was sad and shocked to get this news today. I will remember the laughter and the fun and the warmth and the generosity of this lovely man
Some of the magic has gone. but the memories will be forever. Thank you for sharing him with
everyone. Such a big personality and those Christmas events were very special. Even more so
now. I first met Trevor at the Silverdale Rugby club. He booked me for those events for many years after that, and it was always a pleasure to be in his company.
Our deepest sympathy to you all.

To the family of the Sunflower Man
We are so sorry to hear of Trevor's passing. We found out today quite by accident - another real estate inspired to offer something nice to her clients and acknowledging Trevor's love of doing the same with all kinds of beautiful sunflowers. No question of the cost, Trevor was always after the maximum effect. We'll miss you next and every spring, Trevor - the Whangaparaoa Peninsula won't look quite the same over the coming summers without your generous contributions to those gardens. With our deepest sympathies, Barbara & Gerard Martin and all of the team at Kings Seeds.

I didn't know Trevor personally but I have always had an immense respect for him as he was always doing something worthwhile in the community and I thought that was just amazing. I also knew of him as a very proud family man. I thought so highly of him that there was a time that I needed some advice on an idea I had, decided he was the best person to ask - sadly I never followed through on that. Would love to've met him. Trevor will be dearly missed. A huge loss. My sincere condolences to Trevor's family. May the sunflowers bloom brightly for you Trevor :)

A smile costs nothing, but gives much, It reaches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory can last a lifetime. No one is so rich, or mighty, that they can get along without a smile. A smile creates happiness, fosters goodwill in business and is the countersign of friendship. Farewell Sunflower Smile Friend. RIP

Sheryl, Martin, Scott Kylie and all your family, our prayers and wonderful memories are with you now and always. His laughter, always there to make you welcome no matter when it was, made an impression on whom he touched. And what a role model he has been as a father and poppa. Sorry we cannot be there to celebrate his life on Friday, but know we all loved Trevor.
