My father David Jones was a member of the War Birds and very good friends with Trevor. Unfortunately my father was unable to make the funeral as is unwell in a rest home and lost his memory. I have fond memories of Trevor and Kath. I used to go with my father a lot to Ardmore and we would watch the planes and catch up with Trevor for a beer. He was an awesome man, a very likeable person with a good sense of humour. Trevor will be missed greatly. Regards Brett Jones

It was a great privilege to have Trevor as an aviation colleague, both during our Wings Course and later in Air New Zealand.
It was sad to see him so ill, but bearing up with the pressure it put on him.
We wish every blessing on the family in the years ahead and send our love.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of Trevor. Our dad (Ken Walker) held him in the highest regard. He said he admitted his pioneering spirit and his dogged determination. He will be remembered every time we look skyward. I am sure that he and Dad will be recalling the flights of their past. May he be sitting on a cloud watching over you all. Our very kind sympathies are with you Cathy and the family.
