Helen & family.... I can't tell how sorry i am for what you are going through... Tony was a wonderful entertainer with an unmistakable beautiful voice, a mentor, a gentleman. I did his backing vocals as a teenager, touring with him & Casey Murray & again in my early 20's & learned so much about being yourself on stage. He was a gift to this world & i am deeply saddened by his paasing. I wish I could be there on Friday to honour him. He was such a beautiful soul. Arohanui ki a koutou. Xxx

In the 60's my late brother in law Colin Sowry carted Tony around to gigs in his late model Ford Zephyr. One morning the family woke to find Tony asleep on the sofa in the lounge. To late or ...to take him back to his own home.Loving thoughts to his family. Lovely memories RIP Tony Williams -

To Helen & family, it is with sadness to hear of the passing of Tony. I remember well the good time we had together. I'm going back a few years ago but it was a great time.

For Helen and family I send my sincere understanding at this time . Tony took time to call me when my husband Mark Mareko passed away in 2012. They were children together in Manihiki in the Cook Islands.

Tony was a great mate of my late husband, Bob, and Best Man at our wedding. My children and I send our love and condolences to Helen and family.

As I listend to the radio on Monday, I was sadden to hear of Tonys passing. I played drums for him at many functions. He was and still is a wonderful man. Rest in peace good friend.
