Toby Wikaira Obituary

WIKAIRA, Toby Alexander. On 23rd February, suddenly at his home. Aged 17 years. Precious baby son of Alec and Rangi. Cherished and treasured brother of Amy, Alexis, and Shane. Dearly loved moko of Hope and the late Toby Keepa, and the late Wikaramana and Ripeka Wikaira. Will be sadly missed by all his loving whanau and friends. Toby will be at home until today (Friday) at 12 noon, thereafter to the Whanau Maria Marae, Main Highway North Okahukura, Taumarunui. Friends are invited to attend Toby's funeral service to be held at whanau Maria Marae tomorrow (Saturday 26th February) at 11am to be followed by burial at the Whanau Urupa. toby was my cousin, well actually he was my uncle but not only me but my other cousins called him our cousin because he was the same age as us so to me he was my cousin. the best memory i shared with him was christmas last year when we all stayed in hamilton at our aunty wais house. we all camped out on her lawn.anyway there was nothing great about it but that was the only time he didnt ditch us and it was so fun being able to hang with him. when i got to hang with him i felt like i was part of the cool kids : ) haha.i miss him so much even though we never hung out much. the way i will always remember him by though is him and his huge round black afro.
