MCLEAN, Timothy Hubert Stanhope (Tim). Born July 05, 1946. Passed away on July 31, 2017. Tim died suddenly in Sihanoukville, Cambodia aged 71. Beloved eldest son of the late Hugh and Alla McLean, loved brother and brother in law of Bob and Maria McLean, uncle of Jock, Lachie and Nina. Messages to Bob and Maria, 18 Wairau Rd, Oakura, Taranaki. A life lived to the fullest by a larger than life Character.

Bob please accept my deepest sympathy and although I haven't seen Tim in ages I will never forget our early days together. He was a great surfer and a good mate. Paul

Bob, commiserations and all the best to you and Maria. Linda and I can't believe Tim is gone. We hadn't seen him for a while but he was often in our thoughts: we had some amazing times together. A big part of our earlier lives - and we happened to be back in Morocco when we heard the news. We've been celebrating Tim's life. He enriched these parts of the planet along with many other places where he danced. Warm regards, Jim and Linda
