I have just now heard the news of Tim´s passing.
I enjoyed working with him, and quizzing with him. He was so intelligent and always made an effort to keep in touch with me even after he moved to Wellington.
May you rest in peace Tim.

Dear Margaret and Mike
I was so saddened to hear of your devastating loss. One can only imagine your grief with losing Tim in tragic circumstances. A wonderful peace awaits him and he will be a big star watching over you both from paradise. I am in Europe and I will light a candle for Tim at Brussells Cathedral.
It was so great to see you recently. Love and prayers to you both, and Joanna.

Tim was a constant friend to me for almost 20 years and I will miss him dearly.
Even when he was alone/lonely he was somehow always connected to people. He loved and craved connection, did so much for people and was constantly bringing people together.
Tim rarely missed an occasion and even when at his lowest, took an active interest in others´ lives and still showed up. Tim truly was a friend til the end.
Tim was an astute follower of the world around him and as a result was full of perspective. A profoundly intelligent guy with two degrees under his belt and a consistent interest in general knowledge.
Although I feel regret for not truly understanding Tim´s deep emptiness, I know he appreciated our friendship and all his friendships. Tim put people first. He was an altruist. Tim has taught me an important lesson in being available for and appreciating the people in my life.
Tim was grateful for his upbringing, loved his family and was proud of his siblings and his niece and nephew. They featured joyously in one of the last conversations I had with Tim. Sending much love and healing to Margaret, Mike, Joanna, Chris and the wider family. XX

I´ll always cherish my friendship with Tim from childhood at Rangeview intermediate with afternoon games of sport at his place or mine, through the Kelston years and into early adult life with uni, the Commerce Student Association, Friday nights at shadows and the occasional summer in Waihi Beach. You did so much for those around you and packed so much into life. Gone way too soon my brother, rest in peace Tim.

May you rest in peace Tim. The world is a darker place without you. Thank you for always being there for me and for bringing joy to so many people's lives. I have so many fond memories of you which I will forever treasure. I pray you are no longer suffering and in a better place. You will forever live in our hearts.
Much love to your family who I know you loved very much.

Rest in peace, Tim.
I appreciated your tenacity, and dogged determination. You constantly made an effort, which is so hard to do these days. Social outings, simply catching up or reaching out.
All we can do now is learn from this devastating loss, and do better for our loved ones that are still here.
I´m sorry this world was not a better place for you, Tim.
Lots of love.
Carrie.

My memories of Tim span many years from starting school at Holy Cross and playing cricket at lunchtime on the tennis court and field of Rangeview Intermediate to the final years at Kelston where he saved me from more than a few detentions by not writing my name down at the gate for being late(haha). A great individual and a brilliant mind. Rest in peace mate.

I was a few years under Tim in high-school.
I'm no one in particular to his circles but, I just want it to be known that Tim looked out for all of us. A hero to the vulnerable and an inspiration for everyone. Lifted everyone up simply for being his true self.
